Visualizing
Today we had company in our classroom. One of our school division's literacy coaches, Mrs. Robertson, came to teach us how to visualize. She brought us visualization tubes, and we used them to look at objects around the room. She also modelled a "think aloud" for us. It was fun, and doing think alouds and visualizing will help us to become better readers.

The children that came to the after school program were very excited about the guest that was in their class. They kept talking about looking through tubes. Now after reading and seeing pictures I understand what they were talking about. b
